About Brigita Alèksova

Brigita Čerkauskaitė Alèksova is a Lithuanian contemporary artist working between realism and abstraction through symbolic, atmosphere-driven imagery.

Her paintings combine carefully rendered forms with intuitive textures and layered surfaces, creating emotionally charged spaces suspended between observation, memory and imagination.

Recurring natural elements, fragmented structures and symbolic motifs appear throughout the work as part of an evolving visual language shaped by stillness, contrast and psychological presence.

Working primarily in oil and mixed media, Alèksova approaches painting as both a technical and intuitive process, balancing precision with openness, and structure with instinct.
